George Foster, DMD, is a periodontist committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive care with a focus on long-term oral health and strong relationships with his patients and referring providers. Originally from Columbia, South Carolina, Dr. Foster is proud to now call Knoxville home and is excited to serve the surrounding community.

Dr. Foster earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of SouthCarolina before receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He then completed his residency in periodontics at MUSC, where he served as Chief Resident and developed advanced training in periodontal surgery, dental implants, bone grafting, and soft tissue procedures.
Dr. Foster believes in a collaborative, team-based approach to care and values close communication with general dentists and specialists to ensure each patient receives personalized, comprehensive treatment. He is passionate about continuing education and staying current with advancements in periodontics so he can provide the highest level of care to his patients.
Outside of the office, Dr. Foster enjoys spending time with his wife, who is also a general dentist, and their two dogs. He enjoys hunting, playing music, and cheering on the South Carolina Gamecocks football. He looks forward to building lasting relationships and making a positive impact on the Knoxville community.
